ROCK ISLAND ARMORY M1911 PRO ULTRA MATCH 1911 9MM HIGH CAPACITY (HC) – not to be confused with the $200 cheaper TAC ULTRA MATCH 9mm HC which is a great pistol in its own right, but the ULTRA MATCH (RI56645) is RIA’s top firearm.
The PRO Match Ultra HC is a target grade pistol ready for competition right out of the box. This pistol has a 5″ barrel chambered in 9mm Luger with a 17-round capacity. It has an adjustable LPA rear sight and high visibility fiber optic front sight along with a skeletonized hammer. Comes in a fully parkerized finish with checkered rubber grips and a full length picatinny tactical rail.

The TAC Ultra Compact introduces a full tactical rail. Like all Rock Island 1911s, this series is built with 4140 Ordnance and is refined with our carefully managed hand fitting process. It's chambered in 45 ACP with a 3.50" button rifled barrel supported by a full length guide rod and full dust cover. Includes a low profile adjustable rear sight and high visibility fiber optic front sight and is fitted with skeletonized hammer and trigger with adjustable over travel stop. The TAC Ultra is finished with a tough parkerzied matte coating and adds battle ready G10 tactical grips. True to all Rock Island 1911’s, the TAC Ultra comes with a crisp factory 4- to 6-pound trigger to give you a great experience right out of the box.

Front strap checkering in a new 30 lines-per-inch pattern with bordered base ensures a positive grip and the Carry Melt treatment rounds and blends edges so that they will not hang up on edges or holsters. Standard Kimber features like a match grade barrel, chamber and trigger, beveled magazine well and bumped and grooved beavertail grip safety boost accuracy and speed. Desert camouflage Crimson Trace LaserGrips are standard on all Covert models.
