ROCK ISLAND ARMORY M1911 PRO ULTRA MATCH 1911 9MM HIGH CAPACITY (HC) – not to be confused with the $200 cheaper TAC ULTRA MATCH 9mm HC which is a great pistol in its own right, but the ULTRA MATCH (RI56645) is RIA’s top firearm.
The PRO Match Ultra HC is a target grade pistol ready for competition right out of the box. This pistol has a 5″ barrel chambered in 9mm Luger with a 17-round capacity. It has an adjustable LPA rear sight and high visibility fiber optic front sight along with a skeletonized hammer. Comes in a fully parkerized finish with checkered rubber grips and a full length picatinny tactical rail.

The Trophy Match™ starts with a forged national match stainless steel frame and slide. These are precision fit and then mated with a national match stainless steel barrel and bushing. The 20LPI checkering on the front strap, checkered mainspring housing and checkered cocobolo grips will help you keep this pistol firmly in hand when the timer sounds and your palms start sweating. The crisp 4.5 – 5lb match-tuned trigger pull means you can place your shots exactly as intended. The fully-adjustable rear target sight lets you customize your point of aim for your favorite ammunition. The top of the slide is serrated to reduce glare. An extended beveled magwell will help you reload as fast as possible under pressure. The Trophy Match™ also includes a beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety and a Lightweight Delta™ hammer to round out the package with the ergonomic experience you look for in a top of the line competition 1911.
