Kimber 1911 Custom Covert
Built in the Kimber Custom Shop, Covert pistols are a perfect blend of light weight and tactical features. Front strap checkering in a new 30 lines-per-inch pattern with bordered base ensures a positive grip, and the Carry Melt treatment rounds and blends edges so that they will not hang up on edges or holsters. Standard Kimber features like match grade barrel, chamber and trigger, beveled magazine well and bumped and grooved grip safety boost accuracy and speed. Tactical Wedge night sights, 30 lines-per-inch front strap checkering and beavertail grip safety are standard on all Covert models. The Custom Covert II and Pro Covert II have lanyard rings plus a magazine with an extended bumper.

The backbone of the SP5 is the roller-delayed blowback operating system, which is legendary for its accuracy, reliability, and smooth shooting dynamic. Originally perfected on the Heckler & Koch G3 rifle, it has been used on several other HK firearms still serving today around the world. The SP5 is manufactured in Heckler & Koch's Oberndorf factory in southwest Germany. It retains many of the critical elements of the MP5, including its precision-machined components and attention to detail.
