New WINCHESTER Model 1873 COMPETITION CARBINE HIGH GRADE - 20" BARREL - BLACK WALNUT GRADE III/IV - PERFORMANCE TUNED ACTION - 45LC
The Model 1873 is widely credited as being “The Gun that Won the West®.” This classic model was chambered in the popular handgun calibers of the day and it’s been produced in carbine, rifle and musket models. Cowboy Action Shooters love the reliable Model 1873 because it fires the same ammo as their revolver.
This particular model gives cowboy action shooters even more to be excited about, as it comes ready-for-competition with extras that improve speed and accuracy on the firing line. The most notable enhancement is the action that has been tuned for speed – as is the Winchester way. Specifically, the action has been performance-tuned and modified with a shorter, smoother lever stroke to make cycling faster when you're competing against the clock.
Even with the performance-focused extras, never forget that this is a genuine Winchester Repeating Arms® Model '73 with an oil-finished walnut stock, color case hardened carbine strap buttplate and a 20" round barrel with a full-length magazine, just like the original. Receiver rear tang is drilled and tapped for optional peep sight (sight not included). If you’re the type of collector or hunter who won’t settle for second best or a copy of a copy, fill your hands with this magnificent rifle, saddle up and blaze your trail into the sunset.

New CIMARRON 1892 WINCHESTER COGBURN® CARBINE 45LC LARGE LOOP – BLUED 20″ BARREL – COLOR CASE HARDENED RECEIVER w/SADDLE RING – WALNUT STOCK & FOREARM
New CIMARRON 1892 WINCHESTER COGBURN® CARBINE 45LC LARGE LOOP - BLUED 20" BARREL - COLOR CASE HARDENED RECEIVER w/SADDLE RING - WALNUT STOCK & FOREARM
The Cimarron Model 1892 rifle is manufactured on John Moses Browning's patents of 1884, the same patents covering the earlier and larger model 1886 rifle. The 1892 was introduced by Winchester to replace the aging 1873 model and was made in popular calibers proven in the model 1873. See my other listing for the matching 1873 revolver Cimarron Colt SAA 45LC Rooster Shooter. Both firearms figure predominantly in the John Wayne movie "True Grit" in the open field scene when he wields them and charges on horseback while responding to Robert Duvall's unforgettable "I call that bold talk for a one-eyed fat man!"
