The commander-sized Double Agent features a newly designed, shorter, thinner, aluminum grip that minimizes printing, making it more discreet than other double-stack 1911s in the Nighthawk lineup. Its commander-length slide is carefully knurled and precisely deburred to provide optimal traction during slide manipulations without being abrasive enough to damage holsters. Designed with concealed carry in mind, the texture on the new, shorter aluminum grip matches the look and feel of the knurling on the slide without being so rough that it’s abrasive on bare skin or catches on clothing.

Kimber Gold Combat RL II Custom produced in Kimber's Custom Shop and is handfit to order. This firearm is the finest full-size pistol for carry, defense or duty ever offered by Kimber®. Good enough is never good enough. Kimber Gold Combat RL models are superlative in every respect-from features to dependability to real-world performance. All Gold Combat models have herringbone-pattern Micarta grip panels, special 24 lines-per-inch front strap checkering with bordered base and a high cut under the trigger guard for best hand positioning during rapid fire. Gold Combat models have flat top slides, fine cocking serrations and night sights with cocking shoulder for one-hand cycling if necessary. Scalloped French shoulders elegantly blend the bottom of the slide into the frame. Gold Combats have 5-inch stainless steel bushingless match grade deep-crowned bull barrels. The pistol features the signature P320 LEGION series TXG grip module developed by SIG SAUER engineers with a patented process by infusing tungsten into the polymer material providing the weight of steel with the flex of polymer, in an all-new carry length.
