Springfield 1911 Range Officer Elite Operator (PI9131E).This 45ACP was designed for tack driving accuracy and do-it-all versatility. It features a forged steel frame with accessory rail and a forged steel slide with front and rear serrations which are both protected with a “Black-T” finish to withstand corrosion, abrasions and extremes. The 5-inch match grade barrel has a fully supported ramp and is coupled with a flat wire captive recoil system for ultimate reliability and repeatability. The tactical rack white-dot rear sight and fiber optic front speed target acquisition, a bilateral safety adds security and a crisp Gen 2 trigger and thin-line G10 grips provide the smooth action and secure hold required of a quick, accurate and imposing target and/or tactical option. It weighs 41 ounces with an empty 7-round blued magazine of which two are supplied.

Reconfigured around a double-stack magazine, the Prodigy’s polymer grip module mounts to its forged steel frame offering capacities of 17+1 and 20+1. Optics ready with an ambidextrous safety and picatinny rail the Prodigy combines the most beloved characteristics of the 1911 with modern capacity for unrivaled performance. At the heart of the 9mm Prodigy™ pistol is the expertly engineered double-stack magazine. While still slim enough for a comfortable grip on the pistol, this magazine packs in 17 rounds of 9mm in a low-profile design.
